While visiting Flagstaff, a friend and I were craving good pizza, but was with a friend that needed a vegan, gluten-free option. We heard about Pizza Patio and so glad we went. The staff was extremely friendly and walked us through our options. Ended up ordering two personal pies to share. One was a Margarita and the other was a veggie pie. They were both delicious and the vegan cheese was really good. Although we did not have alcohol, there were lots of beer options, both in the can and on tap. We also had a delicious vegan chocolate dessert. Had it not been so cold outside, we would have brought the dog and eaten outside on the patio which is dog-friendly. Would definitely go back there.
Overview
If you're ever in Flagstaff, AZ, and craving a delicious meal in a cozy, laid-back atmosphere, The Pizza Patio is a must-visit. Nestled at 109 E Phoenix Ave, this charming spot combines great food with a welcoming vibe, making it the perfect place to relax, enjoy some tasty pizza, and soak in the local scene.
The Pizza Patio offers a variety of pizzas, from classic margherita to more inventive options like the BBQ chicken or a loaded veggie pie. Each pizza is crafted with care, using fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. The crust, whether you prefer it thin or slightly chewy, has that just-right balance of crispy and soft. It's the kind of pizza that makes you want to take your time savoring every bite.
But itβs not just about the pizza here; the menu has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty salad, a side of crispy wings, or a delicious pasta dish, you'll find plenty to satisfy your cravings. The wings, in particular, are a standout-crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, theyβre a great start to your meal. For those looking for something lighter, the Mediterranean salad, packed with fresh veggies, olives, and a zesty dressing, provides a refreshing complement to the more indulgent dishes.
One of the best things about The Pizza Patio is the atmosphere. The patio itself is spacious and comfortable, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. On warm Flagstaff days, sitting outdoors with a cold drink in hand while enjoying a pizza is an absolute treat. The friendly staff adds to the overall experience, always ready to recommend a dish or ensure your meal is just right. Itβs clear that they take pride in what they do.
For those who prefer dining indoors, the interior is equally inviting. The relaxed, rustic decor with wooden tables and a few cozy booths sets the perfect tone for a low-key meal. The service is attentive, and the staff makes you feel right at home, which is a big part of why so many people keep coming back.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail in everything they do. You can tell that The Pizza Patio is all about giving customers an experience rather than just serving food. The pizzas are consistently delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors that keep you coming back. And whether you're here for a quick lunch or a laid-back evening with friends, the ambiance, combined with the great food, makes every visit memorable.
The reviews speak for themselves. Many patrons rave about the consistently high-quality pizza and the casual, welcoming environment. If you take a look at what others are saying, you'll find plenty of compliments about the fresh ingredients, the flavor-packed pizzas, and the overall great vibe of the place. People also appreciate the reasonable prices, making it an ideal spot for a family meal or a night out with friends.
Another standout aspect of The Pizza Patio is its location. Situated in the heart of Flagstaff, it's easy to find and conveniently located for both locals and tourists. Whether you're exploring the local shops or heading to nearby attractions, itβs a great spot to stop and refuel. Plus, with its outdoor seating area, it offers a fantastic option for those wanting to enjoy the pleasant Flagstaff weather while grabbing a bite to eat.
In addition to its regular menu, The Pizza Patio also offers a range of drink options, including a carefully selected list of beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages. Itβs the perfect way to complement your meal, whether you prefer something light like a crisp lager or a more robust option like a red wine to pair with your pizza.
All in all, The Pizza Patio isnβt just another pizza place; itβs a local gem that offers great food, a comfortable setting, and a touch of Flagstaff charm. Whether you're a local or just visiting, itβs definitely worth checking out. From the quality of the food to the friendly service and inviting atmosphere, itβs a spot that youβll likely return to again and again.

My wife is gluten, dairy and soy sensitive and they had offers like vegan mozzarella sticks that she hasn't had in quite awhile. 2 kinds of gluten free pizza crust. Steve the owner will run thru all they have to offer
This was the first stop a friend and me stopped by when we arrived to Arizona. I ordered a custom pizza. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the owner. He checked in with everyone as they were eating or leaving. I liked that it also had outdoor seating. The cheese was good and everything was freshly made. He came to ask us where we were traveling from and shared how he started his pizza business. I will be back to try the cauliflower wings!
The Plant~ Based Pizza: thin crust with goat cheese and matzarella cheese with artichokes and black olives was truly amazing. And the plant~ Based peanut dessert was decadent to say the least...one could not tell that it had no dairy in it. The Vegan Ranch dressing was too good to be true...can't go back and eat those other brands.
